The Big Picture

Hi everyone, I'm happy so many of you are enjoying the first demo I put together of the new and improved version of Discipline Delivered. I'm actually away from home on vacation at the moment, and rushed to get the demo out before I was left without all of my files. Thankfully the issue was mostly bug free as far as the core gameplay I wanted to show off, however it will still be at least a week before I can return home and address any issues or even work on adding more content to the game. However in the meantime what I wanted to do was expand on some of the ideas I had planned so far for the project. It took me several tries to get my thoughts in order for this post, but I figured that the most important step was to paint a picture of what the final product I have in my mind looks like.

Ideally, as far as my current plans go, the v1.0 of the game will have the following:

-About 18 spankable characters of varying age groups, styles, and personality.

-4 Implements for spanking jobs each with UNIQUE game mechanics.

-An in-game currency system where you buy upgrades and other gameplay/appearance altering items with points you earn from doing well on jobs.

-A robot customization system where you can choose different loadouts and equipment your spank-bot will use which can have gameplay or visual effects.

-An Email system which delivers you emails you can read on occasion that will give you gradual updates on worldbuilding and lore, along with other potential communications from your employer.

-A Records menu where you can look up your personal performance stats, as well as stats specific to each character and their background.

-A Training/Practice mode where you can replay any attempted job as much as you want (but for either no reward or a reduced one).

-Tracked achievements which reward you with bragging rights (and potentially more).

There's a lot involved in each of these items listed here. So much that I could easily make a whole post going into each of them in detail (which is what I plan to do in fact). I have enough planned to make this quite the substantial game in its end-state, and there will be a lot to cover coming up, but I think it's a good use of my time while away from my main workstation. I hope this helped pique your interest and got you excited with what's to come!
