5/2/18 and Game Jam Day 3!

That doesn't mean I'm slacking off though, I've been working on this since I woke up today and have a lot to show off, as you can see above. First off, I switched to the facial portraits that I talked about last post, currently there are 7 for each character even though the video only shows one. 3 are more positive reactions, and 3 are more negative. They will change based on the player's performance. I've also added a skirt and underwear version of the butt graphic which will change under certain conditions. I think it's a good alternative to the previous animations I had. I made a progress bar too with a nice animation to it. Naturally the bar will be "filled" when the spanking passes the clear score. The center space between the two faces will be for text between the spanker and spankee. The text will probably be random and automatic, depending on certain factors.
What I work on next will be either the level select/title screen, or finalizing the graphics of the main game, like an animation for hitting the note with stars or sparkles, the spankee reacting, etc.

2018-05-03 18:30:11 +0000 UTCWhile this game will be primarily focused toward people who prefer domming, I'm planning on there being a short "game over" scene where the player character is spanked for failing their duties, along with an actual penalty that matters for game play.

2018-05-02 22:01:58 +0000 UTCIt's for the game jam at Aotk. A bunch of people are all making games and will release what they have done after a week of work. What I learned from this so far could definitely be applied somehow with Spanquest, however. Also, if enough people like it I may even continue with this after the event is done.
