Hear me out, sadistic reaper leviathan grabs the listener as they swim for the aurora to fix its engines but doesn't eat them, just toying with them, slowly threatening the listener and over time slowlydamaging the listeners lead lined swim suit more and more until eventually the listener strikes a bargain to fix the aurora but then to build a base nearby so she can forever toy with us, in exchange for her protecting us and never eating us
