11/2/17 and a Slow Progression

I've been crazy busy lately, and still am so I haven't had any time to post let alone do anything worth posting about. But yesterday I had some free time and was able to play around with some changes I've been making. This is mainly regarding the improvements to the spanking system I mentioned a few posts ago. What is difficult about this is that the changes I'm making involve separate parts that need to be changed and updated as I make changes to their own parts separately, which makes testing new features difficult. It means I sort of have to make all of the changes I'm planning on at once, and only then test them out later.
This clearly can lead to a lot of problems, but I'm making progress. For example, I need to balance out the damage the spanker causes with their exhaustion, and also with their patience value which tracks any changes they do in the spanking (covered in the last post). So while these new changes might be in place to test, unless I can set up the conditions naturally there's no way to tell if it's working yet. So I'm also simultaneously adjusting the damage done per scene (while also taking into account the poll results) in order to accommodate the new change in strength that can occur. And while it can be ignored for now, in the future I'll also need to make adjustments to the phrases said by characters in between scenes.
In slightly more interesting news, I did a little experimenting with the image manipulation in the software and I'm testing out a new way to make images fade in and switch with other images instead of just having an ugly cut-replace thing that is currently used. It's a more aesthetic feature that I'll have more focus on after the next update.
