Added 2017-10-26 14:42:01 +0000 UTCGood news, yesterday I was able to make that adjustment to fun spankings so that the spankee doesn't start off so apathetic, and it only took like 2 hours! This included adding an adjustment so that fun spankings now have a possibility to be overdone, and hurt the spankee. You'll know when this happens when you see the reaction dialogue change (also already done) to something along the lines of "I'm not having fun anymore", and their emotion indicator shows a frowny face. Ending the spanking at this state would commence a fail, but you can take certain actions to lower their damage or raise their limit past their current damage to undo this error. So this is another reason to have lotion on hand during a spanking, and use options like comfort as well. The actual penalties for failing in this way haven't been made yet, but it will be along the lines of a familiarity penalty, but a dominance boost to go along with it. So if you're desperate for some dominance points, you can sacrifice familiarity with one character for some more points. If you're that cruel at least.
I've been brainstorming ways to increase the variety in persona texts without adding too much work for me as well. I have one idea where I can create more generic responses that are exclusive to a certain maturity level, but then have a handful of specific responses that are unique to a certain dominance level. That way I can create a huge bank of like 20-30 phrases that can be shared over many types, while also having more unique ones that happen on occasion.
I'm also still working on the flag system, but with how the game detects clothing levels I'm going to make some adjustments to how that works to simplify the flags in the spanking scenes. I need a way to keep track of what layer the character has on versus their actual protection. An example of this would be how a player with no underwear on would have a protection value of 1 with pants or a skirt on. But the layer of clothing would still be 2, as they haven't been bared at all yet. My first thoughts are to track them both with separate variables.
