Status Update: 12/31/24

And so, 2024 comes to a close.

For the last month of the year, disaster had struck me. I got sick. REALLY sick. Not as bad as February, but I was down and out for four days with the stomach flu. Puked all night long the first night and was in and out of the bathroom the rest of the days. It was horrible, but I've since bounced back fairly well I would say.

For writing, I got a bunch of projects done, like usual. Some holiday stuff, personal works, and a few stories for others. Nothing to report there other than I felt really good about all of them. ^^

Not much else happened in December, so let's reflect back on 2024 in general.

It was one of my better years. It was marked step up from 2023 with so many disasters going on. Sure, I got very sick several times, but nothing in my home or work life were devastating. I got tons of personal projects done that I've really enjoyed writing, and wrote plenty of fun commissions. I think work-wise, everything went well.

Though there were certainly other things that went on. DeviantArt's AI stupidity, the fall of Twitter, the rise of Bluesky, me getting burned out and getting obsessive over Souls-like games for several months, election season and fallout, and several artists I like retiring or stopping doing TF artwork. Some of these aren't as big of deals as others, but still. My mind has been all over the place, thinking about the future and how to proceed.

Going in 2025, I'm still going for it. I'm still going to be writing as many fun, transformative stories as I can. I have several ideas lined up, taking advantage of upcoming movie releases, game anniversaries, and more. There's going to be tons of fun projects coming, so I hope you look forward to them all.

With that, I don't have much else to say. I'm looking forward to what is coming next and hope you all join me for the fun journey, no matter where it takes us.
