Curveballs and Waterfalls
Added 2024-07-29 17:53:48 +0000 UTCSorry I'm so behind on publishing! Technically still within the month, but I hate to leave you all hanging and worrying I might not post. Though to be honest I'm not sure how many people care about my posts. I know some people just follow to support and I can't tell you how kind it is to have you here to just believe in me.
July has been a long month! Not to get too personal: my boyfriend and I talked about getting engaged (not engaged yet, just talking about it, but that's a huge step for me), I did a workshop in Costa Rica, had a horrible depression spell brought on by a medication, and now I'm learning about a possible promotion at work. Hopefully, anticipating all the pending news won't result in losing the results. Currently, I'm having to work on preparing for them. My boyfriend and I want to move in together in the next few months, and I have to start learning a lot before my current boss leaves and hands over all the responsibility of our project.
Ironically, I was looking for ways to lay low and make a little additional income, so I can focus on learning new skills that I hope will lead me to my next step in my modeling career. I'll take the waves as they hit me and see where the currents take me. Maybe there is another path I haven't thought of before waiting for me to find it. I've found that life has many opportunities, it's just being able to take them and brave enough to know I can handle them. Modeling has made me feel capable of anything.
