Self portraits of a creep

With help by Noel Nichols. sadly all that grain from it being so dark. Didn't expect that. I think the room probably gets better light in the morning and I'll have to go back for that, or with a flash.

I've been getting busy and lately I've been busy studying to get my scuba certification. With modeling, I don't know how much it'll help, but many photographers have wanted me to be certified first. I'm hoping it'll open doors for me at least. Maybe I'll even like it! Right now, it seems scary. The lessons are all focused on how to avoid dying in scuba. Freediving had a lot less focus on trying to stay alive. I'm sure it'll be fine, but it's funny how different the classes are. I am learning some important information I wish my other class had had about tides, currents, water levels, etc. I'm excited for the adventures this could lead me.

I was recently invited by a friend to accompany her to Algeria. I'm so excited. Both to go to a country I never would've thought I'd visit (like most places I've traveled to lately), and that a friend of mine thought of me to go with her! Nothing feels more self affirming than someone wanting your company to travel across the world! Luckily, I'm in a place in my life where I can afford to go. Just a few years ago it'd have been so different. Having a job with modeling has given me the most amazing opportunities. Not only do I need to travel for work, but the independence of having money let's me say yes to the things I want. Gone are the days of pinching pennies by wearing rags to work out and buying non-organic. I don't spend frivilously, but now I buy nice gym clothes because it encourages me to work out (goals) and I buy healthier food for myself or the planet.  I like being able to use money to spend towards my goals, my dreams, and for supporting businesses and products I believe in.
