Sunwoo and Daniel got the most votes because they were in the ground even before the 6ilanders were voted out, and the fans really wanted them to be in I-land, so they voted for them all the time. While for Heeseung and K, they were in I-Land the whole time and people believed that they would be in the final 6, because they would never have been picked out. So thatβs why people didnβt vote for them that much as they did for sunwoo and Daniel.

I agree that too much is made of the evil editing trope. I don't think they try to deliberately make someone look bad, but if there is any drama or conflict they are clearly going to show it. I totally understand how K must have felt. There was an implicit hierarchy established in I-Land which has suddenly been shaken by the first public vote so he can't feel secure anymore. I don't think anyone came out of this show looking bad (even Seon). Its difficult to imagine the stress they must have been feeling. And then there's cameras watching their every move with any departure from saintly behaviour ready to be pounced on by a Twitter mob.

I have a dilemma with reality television. Regardless if things were said out loud, the audience will never understand the full story since certain statements can be taken out of context.
For this episode specifically. Personally, I do find it odd that K is now having moments of indifference coincidentally in the beginning of Part 2 of the show. But I digress.
At the end of the day, tv is gonna tv. I think we all can agree that none of these people are genuinely bad people and deserve actual hate. And if the show is going to make the audience feel conflicted then ig theyβre doing their job. π€·π»ββοΈ

Just my thoughts, I know lots of people hate Mnet editing, so they think all bad scenes are edited evilly. And they make excuses. I know that MNet makes things more dramatic and evil, but we can't deny the facts what happened and fans and viewers just say it's all about evil editing.
