Marcus and his partner watching a nature documentary on TV, what Justine was teaching in class if you look on the blackboard. Gladys isn’t actually related to Alex, his parents never met her so they couldn’t verify it. “Gladys” is very old and probably took over the body of some random woman but couldn’t sustain it. Someone else pointed out how this parasitic witch was able to exploit “Midwestern politeness” because she knew no one would tell her to fuck off. Like with the water and how she doesn’t even bother to dress normally. Her makeup is clownish and unkempt but no one will think it was too weird or follow up on it because they don’t want to be offensive.

2025-10-27 04:26:39 +0000 UTCI watched this movie 4 or five times already. You guys noticed some things that I missed all the other times. It's one of the reasons why I love watching reaction videos. I think it's cool that you occasionally still make references to "It Follows", a movie you reacted to over a year ago (May 9, 2024). You might need to make an adjustment to the screen you're watching these types of movies on so you can make out details during dark scenes. That scene in Hereditary where the mom was clinging to the wall in Peter's room scared the shit out of me right away. Some people didn't notice her there until she moved. That scene might be a good one to use to adjust your screen.

It’s just a really fun film that has one great movie villain it and also is a really good condemnation of America. An entire classroom goes missing? It’s a metaphor for school shootings. The horror is that this just an average week in America
