Robert Bobroczkyi, a former Romanian basketball player, plays the role of "The Offspring" in the movie Alien: Romulus: Bobroczkyi's role in Alien: Romulus was his acting debut. He wore a full-body prosthetic to play the hybrid alien, "The Offspring", who is born from the womb of Kay (Isabela Merced). The Offspring is the result of a combination of human and alien genetics, and is intended to be the "perfect human". The filmmakers used practical special effects instead of CGI to create the character, keeping with the original Alien movies. Bobroczkyi's unique movements and imposing presence captivated audiences.
