I'm surprised no one mentioned the brunette in the first scene of this episode. That's viral sensation Sarah Cooper. She went viral during Covid, lip syncing to President Trump's interviews and speeches. I don't see this show credited on her IMDB page, but that's her. If you've never seen her you must check her out.

2024-11-16 00:01:53 +0000 UTCRIPPAH STEFAN!!! (Sidenote: They say IRL Paul Wesley is more like Damon and Ian Somerhalder is more like Stefan 🤣). He is so scary but you can see he's really struggling. Paul honestly does such an amazing job at playing this side of the character. That ending scene with Stefan and Elena on the phone is one of my favourite scenes EVER and I became obsessed with that song (A Drop in the Ocean by Ron Pope). Poor Alaric as well 💔 And then we have horny Caroline & Tyler, his crazy mother, Jeremy seeing ghosts of girlfriends' past and Bonnie nowhere to be seen since she's not needed for some witch stuff 🤣 Btw, Kevin Williamson did co-write this episode but then didn't write any episode until the last season. As for The Originals, Corey is right: S1 starts during S5 of TVD and 4x20 of TVD is the unofficial backdoor pilot of The Originals. Technically you don't really have to watch it at that point since there are no direct crossovers but I STRONGLY recommend it, as there might be a few spoilers from the other show that will otherwise be confusing.
