Their origin unknown... as well as they function..
Some believe them to be sacred, some believe them to be keys to other world and realities.
As in the case of the Key Egg... an artifact that was considered to be some kind of key, but that never shown any sign of activity... until now of course ;p

This is a great idea. It could be lots of fun, especially if our hero/victim keeps getting pulled back to the bunny realm for short periods every Easter, and returns to our world slightly more bunnified each time, but just slightly.
