Strips or Drawings or just Comics?
Added 2019-01-31 11:19:27 +0000 UTCOne of the negative sides of throwing 7+ pages in one post (as i have been doing with Raan's Doll and the ZOAT) is that you guys feel like I’m delivering less per month... which is quite the opposite... chrismas alone was bunkers!
And this month content might look like less... but every strip/one shot comic is like 2 comic pages... so that would be like 5-6 bonus stuff? not counting the alternate versions... thou is clearly harder to make more alternate versions for the strips...
For example, making a nude Ryu would have meant changing 2+ panels.
I did made a Futa version for that one... but for the New year or the Red one, just wouldn't make sense ... (and if it doesn’t i won’t do it)
I would think you would prefer short strips against just one image... but I'm not really sure---
or maybe you just want to see more progress about the main comics (Raan'sDoll and the Zoat at this moment) and don’t care about the rest ... that would meant less bonus but more pages for the main comics... but also less updates during the month-
(since i will keep uploading all the pages together since i find its better to read it that way)
well, this is the purpose of this poll, to get a better idea of what you want

2019-02-02 16:07:29 +0000 UTCI don't mind the strips and one shots, I understand wanting to do something a little different every now and again. Having said that, I voted my conscience, which means I voted for focusing on the main comics.

2019-02-02 05:59:47 +0000 UTCsame that all the rest, i like your work, one shots and main comics, i prefer main comics, Raan is the one that carry me here, but that doesn't mean that i don't like one shots and bonus art :)
2019-02-02 05:14:46 +0000 UTCI think Doug Greenwood, above, sums up my thoughts perfectly. I like pretty much all of your work and I like that you do a variety of different formats. I like the comics, short and long, because I like the story behind the transitions, but some of my favourite pieces of yours have been very short comics or single images. Having said that, I love Raan's Doll and ZOAT too. Do whatever lights your fires. I'll follow wherever you go.

2019-02-01 12:18:00 +0000 UTCYou art is beautiful and I really admire your writing, but I would like to see more of the mains. Not to say your one shots aren't welcome I feel like they're a welcome distraction, but lately it seems like they're the only focus. Keeping the mains alive at a regular basis is important, and then if you get stuck or bored then do a one shot or random thing. Sorry if I found bossy, I promise I'm not trying to. Anyhow, much love and hugs 😘

2019-01-31 22:31:38 +0000 UTCI've always believed artists should go after what they personally want to do. I like your art, so I support it.

2019-01-31 20:38:43 +0000 UTCThe main comics are fun but I've always liked your ultra-sexy short sequences the most personally.

2019-01-31 19:43:04 +0000 UTCI feel that the highest quality comes about from allowing you (Kannel) to do what inspires you the most. I think I prefer the short comics most overall and single images the least, but I enjoy it all. The storytelling in the regular series benefits most from not being created under pressure to get pages out and as these are your main works, I feel that in a mutually beneficial way for our enjoyment and your satisfaction and portfolio, not getting them out at any point other than when you personally feel they are ready is best all round (though publishers would probably disagree!). I think you're at your best when you play around with short pieces and bonus images before releasing a larger batch of work - see Paramour Hotel for a clear example of how this process seems, to me, to be the method which has led to your strongest work since I've been following you. At the end of the day I really enjoy all your work, and whatever you find most satisfying is the best way for you to work. Hope that insight is useful? Regardless, love & thanks for all your great work!
2019-01-31 18:06:41 +0000 UTCI became a patron because I wanted to know what happens in Raan's Doll. Do what you want. I'm just saying.

2019-01-31 16:16:39 +0000 UTCI don't like longer form story comics anyway.I prefer transformation sequences and comics. Once the transformation is over, I don't care anymore about the story.

2019-01-31 15:17:00 +0000 UTCI like both short and long form comics much more than single images, though bonus art is also good. I like comics because they tell a story; a single image generally doesn’t do that so well. The danger I see with longer comics is that if they don’t appeal to everyone, you’re stuck in a long term commitment to something less popular. I think that a series of short 3-7 page comics with the occasional piece of bonus art would be my personal ideal to see, but I recognize others will definitely feel differently.
