Survey results!

Of the four options listed, two seem to be overwhelmingly more popular than the rest, and these two 'winning' scenarios are also almost perfectly matched in terms of how many votes they got. The two 'winners' are: on the one hand the 'No new characters' scenario, and, on the other hand, the 'Let's add Jennifer's son and daughter' scenario.
Obviously these are two very different directions in which the story may be taken, so I'll have to think about this some more. Still, it was very helpful to decidedly rule out the other two options! And the choice won't need to be made for at least another chapter, so there's that too.
Meanwhile, the writing of Ch. 13 is proceeding smoothly, and I estimate that I'll be finished with it by mid July, more or less.
