More specifically, this audio is meant to be in the vein of the Re:Zero Rem IF web novel series, which follows the alternate timeline scenario of Subaru asking Rem to run away with her, and her accepting.

It's a psychological thriller. Often gruesome but very good at creating tension and setting up its themes and characters. The development of the main character is definitely the main draw of the show; it is not a tipical isekai story, and it often subverts many of the common tropes. 10/10. Subsonic sparkle made a great review about it, though it contains spoilers.

2019-08-01 14:26:51 +0000 UTCThe sad thing about this route is that, once Subaru dies, everything resets to where he diverged. If he dies by, lets say, something that kills his family. He will return with memory of everything. Unless if he lived a good life with Rem, it's just sad.
