When I shoot anything with an exotic twist, I only do it if the models are entirely on board:
I want some emotion from them, and in my experience, they must want to do the images, not just do it to please me.
Otherwise, they rarely can live into that moment and project emotion.
There are exceptions, of course, but a lot of models who frequently shoot erotic imagery tend to have a “dead” expression on their faces.
Open-leg images where the model's face appears to convey they are thinking about their grocery list don’t appeal much to me I'm afraid.
