Two very windy shots of Lilith Etch at Løkken beach just before sunset. The sun was playing hide-and-seek behind a low cloud cover, and the direction of light I usually aim for was hard to find.
I have a question for you:
In the second image, I made the sky very dark (in reality, it’s almost blown out white).
I can’t determine if it’s too dark. I don’t want any attention to go to the sky, and if it’s lighter than the bunker, the viewer's eye will involuntarily drift up there, near the corner of the image (which usually means you’ve lost the viewer). I avoid this by darkening it, but it still doesn’t feel quite right.
Let me hear your opinion, please.
PS: Lilith says Hi.
