I quite like the anime adaptation for the most bit in this fight because the slew of soundtracks they pull out ("Will To Fight" is my personal favourite), but goodness it removed so much impact with the censorship. In the manga Larcade literally impaled Sting with his cross https://i.imgur.com/awK2Flq.png Regardless, Sting vs Larcade is probably in my top 5 fights in Alvarez, it's really one of the only fights of the second half of Alvarez that I enjoyed in its entirety without critique. The last time we saw a White Shadow Dragon, they were fighting against humanity. This time, they're fighting for it

2025-09-11 03:50:55 +0000 UTCI WAS DYING TO SAY THIS, SINCE orasian seis arc: Do you guys remember, when wendy showed up for the first time in the anime, Natsu was like "I KNOW HER, BUT I CAN'T REMEMBER FROM WHERE" yes that was it that was because they all knew each other and gajeel line in GMG too about rouge Though I don't remember the manga being this freaky lol with the hunger and bitting, it's mostly anime 😆
