Chapter 19 - My Heart's Whisper

Public Release came earlier than usual, well, it is the season of giving, so might as well put this to-do on the backburner early(This won't be a regular thing). The funny story about this release, there's been an ongoing issue with the phone feature for the "phone version" of the game, ironic. EO couldn't get into the groove of understanding said problem, and I'm stuck with other issues of the game. So we decided to let it be and fix it on ch20, here's the kicker: After everything has been set up to release chapter 19 publicly, he figures it out, in about 10-15 minutes. Of course, I made him rebuild the android version, therefore this should've been released a few hours earlier. Hohoho!

It won by a huge margin that I didn't bother to count anymore, although I'm regretting thinking of said option since Birthday Suit is way easier to pull off. Damn you, brain. Pre-book 2 Bronze Tier supporters, feel free to PM me about these.

Oh, this chapter was supposed to have a trial run on gameplay mechanics for the succeeding games, but the free-roam was left out because EO was busy, but a sample of the fishing mini-game is present in this chapter, don't worry it's not complicated at all.

This chapter took 33 days by my count, only a day earlier than the last; I could've done it faster, my bad. This is the first chapter to not have an H-scene since the early chapters of Book 1, it simply doesn't fit the chapter's tone. It was plotted in, but as I was making the chapter, it dawned on me that it was inappropriate and it was a misfit. So if that's what you're after, tough bananas. I wasn't intentionally being cruel this time, unlike chapter 12. Or am I?

What's in this chapter?  The side story from the couple that is on the title card but the chapter still focuses on the MC. We've got to have a nice frame to hang the picture with, after all. The progression of Akemi's arc and bodies of water, lots and lots of water. This is also the first chapter that irked me for having a faceless MC, a lot of the chapter's scenes required him to give facial reactions but I made it work. As well as planting seeds for the MC's character development.

As I said before, this chapter raises more questions than it answers, but I did write my ass off for it. This was fairly easy to render and animate for the reason mentioned above, but it was harder to write. The difficulty in writing increases as we progress to each chapter, but that's a given seeing how far we've come. We're halfway there! The story, that is, there will be an after-story to ensure that the game would be properly concluded. I've had this idea since Book 1 but since I had to plot out the "plot," I'm only confident in announcing the way the story is going to be told now. I've seen too many games where the story was left open-ended "unnecessarily"; this won't happen with MTWY.
