Alexander Senki - Promo Film
Added 2023-10-23 16:11:15 +0000 UTCIn 1996, I was invited to participate in the development of an animated adaptation of Alexander Senki (Alexander War Chronicle), a retelling of the life of Alexander the Great by novelist Hiroshi Aramata. The publisher Kadokawa Shoten had sponsored many animated productions based on their books and manga, many of which were produced at Madhouse Studio. The producer was Masao Maruyama and the director was Yoshinori Kanemori. I provided character and concept designs. For the promotional short, i also helped with storyboards and layouts. For me, the biggest reward was seeing my layouts brought to life by my favorite Japanese animator, Yoshinori Kanada.
