2025-07-15 12:34:02 +0000 UTC"Pure" comedy anime like Saiki aren't that plentiful and I haven't seen a lot of them. There's also the issue of a lot of comedy getting lost in translation + lack of cultural context, "nichijou" is a great example of this, but maybe you'd like it. If you want to keep watching comedy anime, maybe check out Konosuba and Gintama. Konosuba is just hilarious, extremely popular, Isekai parody. Gintama is legendary and there's over 300 episodes, I'm not the biggest fan but a lot of people love it. I only watched it once, but I thought "Asobi Asobase" was hilarious, but that was mostly due to the fact the japanese voice actresses went fucking crazy on that one, I don't wanna see that dubbed^^ I watched a few episodes of "The Way of the Househusband" and dropped it, it's the same joke over and over...
