So as I've shared a couple times, I would like to "remake" our older episodes with our new source footage and potentially re-release it on Youtube. But now I'm thinking... what if I streamed parts of that so you could see how I do it? Would that interest you guys?

Deleted Scene - Ep.9 "Send In The Clowns"

To finish the year, I wanted to share the beginning of a new project of mine: restoring some cut content from MSAGW episodes! We have a separate file for scenes we had to cut for pacing but still liked, just in case we want to reuse them later. The scenes that we couldn't possibly use later (like Trowa and Heero in Marseille), we're going to remake as little one-shot scenes and share.

The goal is ultimately to get more Wing content on Youtube, but I'm not sure if I want to upload these ...

Pausing Patron Charge for August

I ALMOST FORGOT OUR FRIDAY UPDATE. But it's 10pm here so technically I still made it.

The update for this week was just the release date, something we shared today on the Happy Go! stream. Wed., June 28th, likely at about 5PM PST, though we'll decide on that closer to the day-of. New Series: One Shade of Grey

Hey all. I'm happy to announce a new, smaller-scale series of videos we'll be posting to Youtube starting this month: One Shade of Grey.

Friday Update: Panning Images

If you've ever watched Wing (and I know I have!) you've probably noticed how much the show likes to pan across long shots to give a feeling of motion where there really is none. It's a technique meant to make things visually stimulating without actually having to animate multiple frames. Wing uses it a lot.

Friday Update: Turn Treize Turn

For this week's update, I thought I'd show you how I removed a pesky Romefeller dude who had nothing to do with this scene in Ep.13.

In the original show, Treize comes in to answer to multiple Romefeller higher ups, and Dermail has a whole group at the side of the room in the opening shot. However, they serve no purpose for our scene and we never use that first shot, so this random guy just standing here is distracting. I didn't like it.

Friday Update: Wufei Handcheck

This is another example of me making things harder on myself because of the script not matching the visuals. Whoops.

In the original show, this shot of Heero sitting across from Wufei is introduced by a pan from right to left, with Wufei holding up his handcuffs and lowering them as Heero comes into view. This is just a quick edit I wanted to show for Ep.13, since you haven't gotten to see much of the episode so far. (It's mostly still in the audio/video placement phase with cool edits to show coming much later.)

Friday Update: What to expect coming soon

So we managed to meet all our goals for January-March, which is good! Blue wanted to finalize his format for Happy Go! and release his first video, then start streaming. Hey all! Just wanted to let you know the second episode of Happy Go! is coming Friday, April 14th! Tried to pick something quite different from Resident Evil to test the format with something more action-y. It's taken me a lot longer than I thought it would because Resident Evil was so linear that it was way easier to cut and structure. I think it's coming out really well, though. Friday Update: Ep.12 is fully recorded!

For this week's update, I'm excited to share that despite the delays on Ep.11 due to our Quatre recasting, Ep.12 of MSAGW is now fully recorded! I've already made substantial progress on its visuals, and now, barring any need for retakes, I can work on the entire episode without delays.
