2023-08-24 19:23:48 +0000 UTCSorry, but BUTTER THE STEPS ?? What ? Please let just an Elven Sniper Archer target and hit him and he falls behind. Not this ridiculous thing of buttering up steps. Elves have better night vision anyways so this buttering up doesn't even make any sense.

Apparently they manage to know what powers the magicians have and have already identified this potential of the MC. There's also the fact that apparently their general is injured. Putting it all together, there's a real possibility they could escape.

2023-08-17 21:56:46 +0000 UTCMaybe I'm in the minority, but I like this arc. I thought our MC seemed pretty human during this whole siege and retreat thing. Like a dude over his head and trying his best to not get caught, have his secrets revealed, or die. Did he make mistakes, sure, that could be argued. But again, in very human ways. Oh, and for anyone who uses the words Plot Armor, STFU!
