AEW Copyright Update
Added 2021-05-04 19:00:03 +0000 UTCJust wanted to give you guys an update on the Copyright Strike situation. I was able to get in contact with Maffew, the guys who makes the Botchamania videos, what I got from him is that there seemed to be an issue with AEW's copyright system and they were taken a bit longer than normal to deal with it. A few days later, I checked in with him and apparently, his process had already started to get retracted, and couldn't really give me any info on what to do. I tried contacting AEW's copyright email again and they straight up lied to me saying that they are only reviewing AEW games, which is common knowledge that it's not the case. Then said that my and his channels have zero connected when I obviously reacted to his videos and yet he's fine and I get to deal with it, so that was another lie to try to cover up the first one. I get it, they can choose who can and can't have footage of their show in others videos, but I feel like the strike is a little much considering it was a Botchamania video and a small portion of it are in those videos. Also, the precedent has been set by WWE, who have never given me a strike. Needless to say, it's going to be a long couple of months. July 29th is the official day they expire. I'm hopeful that I can last that long, but you never know.
