I'm sorry for the long silence here! It's been a rough few weeks. I don’t weather conventions as well as I used to, it appears, and I had very little to show from Tolkien Tage. I did a few sketches but sold most of them before I could photograph them, lol.
I was working on one more finished watercolour portrait of Jasnah, which was hard enough because it was so hot that my paint dried within seconds. I do like it though, even with the water lines.

Watercolour on Windsor&Newton paper, 14x18 cm. Original available!
I've also been chipping away at Jerome's commission! I'm really happy with the comic lineart now. Next up: rain in watercolour! Ouch. ;)
First panel - Rock and Teft come out after the highstorm to find an apparently dead Kaladin tied to the barrack roof.

2nd panel - they are joined by Moash and Lopen.
3rd - "Kaladin's eyes snapped open."
4th - The bridgemen are shocked to see he survived being strung up in a highstorm.
5th - The sphere that Teft gave him just before the storm slips from his fingers. It should have been infused with light from the storm, but it's dun.
This piece also made me rearrange my photo gallery (and especially the reference pics thereof). I mean, "rearrange" sounds as if it had been arranged in any way, which it really wasn’t. ;) It is now. 😆
