Okay, I had a weird day. I was painting Ashton crying his heart out while Bayer Leverkusen, the football club I've been supporting since 1990, won the league for the first time in its history, a whopping five matches before the end of the season. And I ended up crying too when I saw the TV pictures of fans celebrating, because my brother would have LIVED for this. We were in the stadium together over a hundred times, saw Leverkusen narrowly avoid relegation, saw them finish second (far too often), and now it’s finally happened and he’s no longer here, and I hardly know what to feel…
