Quick colour sketch: Pâté gets an upgrade
Added 2022-10-23 19:23:50 +0000 UTCFun little colour sketch in between marking Latin exams! Pâté, Laudna's stuffed rat-cum-birdskull familiar, has just sprouted wings AND a cockney accent in one of the best and most ridiculous Critical Role moments yet.
Matt: "He nestles in your hair and just vanishes beneath it."
Marisha: "Oooh, can he sit on top? Like a fascinator?"
Liam: "Poppy petals just flying everywhere."
One thing I wanted to do with this sketch is capture the weird childish energy Laudna displays. In almost all fanart, she always looks dark and menacing when, at the table, her player Marisha is always smiling. In a totally scary way, yes, BUT always smiling. =D
