First off, landscape practice! I tried to convey a windy Cornish seaside and I think I halfway succeeded. This is still a rough stage that I probably won't pursue further, but it was a bit of an exercise that went really well and gave me a lot of new landscape insight. I used a lot of very different brush tips here and still need to find some balance between smooth and texture, rough and refined, but at least I know.
Aaand a lineart for a commission I'm very happy about - the sort of thing where you get commissioned to do an image you absolutely would have done anyway! CW - this is rough. Blood, tears, and character death. Orym holding the dying Will. ;_;

Now I see all sorts of things wrong with it... Maybe I'll even redo Orym; he had such a great pose in the sketch and I lost most of that... >_<
BUT I finally found a great excuse to put a Fantasy character in a linothorax! These armour types are such fun to draw.
