I faced two problems here: First, Shermouse or Cumbermouse? Cumbermouse has some obvious problems - I can't do the right hair, and no cheekbones, sorry. XD So all that would have been left were coat and scarf, and I need recognisable costumes for these characters, so the original Holmes was the obvious choice. Now THAT has been done as a mouse - I had an absolutely unholy crush on Basil the great Mouse Detective when I was eleven, so I would know - and I had to make sure my Shermouse was clearly not Basil. Well, enter the dormousian physique. XD
I'm happy to say that now, after almost thirty dormice, I'm starting to get a feel for body dynamics and interesting poses while still making them mousish. That was one of my greatest problems wih my D&Dormice. I made it all up as I went along and never really figured out how to solve the legs, but I think I'm getting there now.
