Here are seventy-four packaged pins! Everyone in Germany and in the EU, your pins are going out tomorrow. π π π
(It took me five months, but I finally realised I can buy EU postage in bulk from the Deutsche Post website... just in time!!)
96 packages are left. I hope to fix them all up by Thursday at the very latest.
These packages you see up there are really sturdy, but good grief, they are a pain to assemble! I'll have them all used up within the next few months, I hope - and after that, I'm going to go green with all my packaging. I've found a shop that offers eco-friendly mailers and even compostable plastic sleeves for prints! It's so great to see how many alternatives there are, all of a sudden. And it all happened within a year here. A year ago, I started using reusable bags for loose vegetables and fruit at the supermarket; until winter, cashiers looked at me as if I wasn't right in the head - and suddenly, you can buy these bags in every supermarket. Etsy started offsetting carbon emissions from every order last year, too.
The only thing I need to get rid of now is the bubble wrap sleeves! But thanks to this weekend, I'm down to less than a hundred of those now, too. ;)
