I had a long day at school today and packed the wrong sketchbook - one that was full! So I ended up doodling these on the final page of it. It's the preliminary designs for Finrod, Lรบthien, and Beren. (I'll still make those two interlock better.)
Today, I sent off the Kingfisher and open edition Maedhros to the second pin manufacturer. And am biting my nails waiting for the shipping confirmation of the first batch. I am also watching the number of people still joining up - and I'm glad I went for 200 pins after all!

2019-03-19 18:37:04 +0000 UTCI'm looking forward to seeing the final designs! I'm a bit curious about your choice of having the harp on his left shoulder though. Almost all modern harpists play on the right shoulder, but I think left shoulder was common for Irish and Welsh harps, particularly wire strung harps, until those traditions sort of died out several hundred years ago. Is that what you took inspiration from?
