A lot of my visuals for the Silmarillion comes from the early nineties. Fingolfin got the best visuals of all of them - the face of a young Daniel Day-Lewis with the hair of Bayer Leverkusen striker Heiko Herrlich (which translates to Heiko Fantastic). That is his actual name. And that was his actual hair. Like many others, before I read the History of Middle-earth, I mistook "Fin-gol-fin" to mean "hair-mantle-hair", so this mane sort of figured. Of course, I long thought he was blond.
This would look great as a pin... wouldn't it? ^___^

Hihi :D! We really can't get enough of them! I actually plan for more commissions somewhere in the future, because pencil sketches are definitely missing in my collection. :D ... and some of the other Finweans would do well in ballpoint pen, too. ;p

I've always admired your "Drawing of the sword"-Fingolfin, even though you can only see his back. Because it's just so perfect and he looks so noble and composed. Now, I have the equivalent as a portrait. I'm so happy! <3 And I absolutely love the details and little hints in their tunics! ... And a huge YES for the pin. :D
