PINS - Things are getting exciting!

Here's the mockup from the manufacturer. I'll give them green lights for production later today, so the pins should definitely be here by mid-April! 

The pins close with a butterfly clasp at the back, but I'm just going to buy rubber fastenings and include them with every pin, so you can choose what works better for you. 

Three important notes! 

1. I looked through the Patreon database this morning. Some sixty-something of you signed up for the new tier yesterday, but there almost twice that number of people whose pledges make them eligible for the pins, but who haven't changed tiers. That puts me in a bit of a tight spot, as I have to wildly guess the number of pins I may need. Which means... 

2. Please sign up for the "Celebration" tier if you already know you want the pin - it's almost impossible for me to calculate otherwise. ;) If you're currently pledging more than 5$ and want to keep it that way, yay! You can enter another amount for the tier. Here's how. 

That also means... 

3. ... I may have leftover pins because I'd rather err on the side of caution. My idea was to order the pins pretty much exactly to order, but I thought it would be easy to guess that number based on the first few days of the Special Offer campaign (as was the case in my Cannae kickstarter). It's obvious now that I need to guess, and that I'll need to check with all of you regarding leftover pins. I still don't want to put them on Etsy, as I would be cheating those who joined up for the pins, or changed their tiers. What I could imagine is holding on to them, designing another matching pin further along the line, and then bundling them up together. That way, they'd remain exclusive. 

Fun fact: When I sent to file to the manufacturer, it was just named "pin", and they apparently felt the need to give it a more descriptive title, so my email correspondence with them now involves a lot of emails titled "Jüngling" (an old-fashioned German word for "youth", or "sapling"). XD
