Earth and Sea and Sky

Okay, I owe Rebecca and SmArt School BIG TIME for how this one came together. I had all those animals all over the place in the first version of this until she gave me incredibly helpful pointers for this last Tuesday. I'll be holding on to those pieces of advice for every piece from now on - especially the busy ones.

Another piece inspired by the story of Taliesin. This is Gwion Bach after catching three drops from the magic cauldron, hit by the Awen - the Welsh concept of (artistic) inspiration and foresight.

I hadn't been able to work on this at all for over a week. I felt totally uninspired, mired down and stuck. You know that I reached my low on Thursday. And I can't thank you enough for all your many kind words (and actions) after Friday. Guys, you're so precious. Those who wrote to me, or called, and all of you who didn't do anything but just stayed. I'm silly for not expecting that, not to this extent. I should have known you better! <3

There is so much energy in this picture! I love it and look forward to how it all will look in the end. As for your message to us the other day...you have been on my mind and in my heart ever since. I hope things begin to shine brighter for you and I am glad I can support you here and be a part of your community <3 Blessings to you Jenny!

To be honest. I'm not quite decided! Let's see where we end up! :)

Ok, never mind. I knew I hated it when Patreon decided to delete the red "You have a new message in your inbox" notice. -.- You of course explained everything there.

(My browser decided to be weird and take 'enter' as 'post' instead of 'line break'... ) There is so much going on in this one, I can't wait to see how it's going to look when it's finished.

Glad to hear you're finding the SmArt School class so helpful, but even happier to hear you sounding better.

Oh no, that last paragraph doesn’t sound good. What happened, Jenny? (Did I miss a post somewhere?) I hope you are alright and whatever went wrong is now getting better. Can we help you in any way? *hugs you* ... I love the lineart a lot. This picture will be so awesome! What advice did Rebecca give you? It is a real joy to read that you enjoy her classes so much. ... By the way, I noticed you changed the raffle. Magnets? Cool! – I didn’t know you create these, too. :D

This is wonderful! I look forward to seeing the effects you will use to finish it -- there are hints in the sketch, I want to see if I'm guessing right! ^_^ Your work is always worth waiting for. You have a real talent, and part of talent-used-well is striving to improve yourself. Well done, you!

This is going to be exquisite. You've nailed the composition so well. We'll always be here to support you, in whatever way you need that support to be!

Haha! That eagle was pretty much in the fridge previously. XD

Wow. A lot of animals to have all over the place, really, so I'm very happy you managed to tame them and put them into the picture instead of, let's say, your fridge or the roof. ;)
