Kylo mind-tricked me into proving that he can do that swoosh too.

I loved the lightsabre fight in TFA. Visceral and vicious. Not like the portly ones from the OT or the ballet dances from the Prequels.

Listening to Green Day for the necessary aggression factor.

(Please, Tolkien fans, bear with me for a little while more... I realise I'm keeping you in a state of frustration, but there's a few more Star Wars pieces I need to get out of system. :))

Star Wars is absolutely fine for me. I stumbled over Ep. I when I was 10, my younger brother watched it with friends, and remember trying not to show how much it fascinated me because it was “something for boys” ;-). I actually like the prequels, probably because I saw two of them before the OT, and The Force Awakens rekindled that fascination from 16 years back. More Star Wars-Art is appreciated :-) – and I do look forward to that Maeglin picture. Besides, I think you should do what you like.

I really think Maeglin is next up on my list! I even wonder whether I should try ink again. Maemglin always reminds me of Catherine Chmiel-Gugulska (Kasiopeia)'s fantastic ink work.

Ah, I don't mean to get any more crossover than a few flowing coat-tails, no worries. I've often cross-borrowed elements in all my art, and the Kylo Ren/Fëanor dispute was really nothing but a spoof. ;) The image of Fëanor did start as an "inspired by", but it's not my intent to make it a true crossover. :)

As I've said before, my favorite subject is Tolkien but I want you to paint what inspires you. If you're in a Star Wars phase, go for it!

I love all the SW pieces as well as swoosh!Feanor. (What do you think of a swoosh!Thranduil?!?! For later, of course.) This one really shows a lot of aggression. Love it already?

I prefer seeing pure Star Wars pictures to the possibility of both universes getting mixed up. I think it's good that you put your passion into these SW pictures completely. Better than saving something up which then creeps into Tolkien related paintings. As long as we are able to differentiate your Kylo and Fëanor all is fine I think. ... Which of course doesn't mean that I'm not impatiently waiting for more Silmarillion pictures. ;p
