Well as a guy, I found it refreshing to have a female lead, not only that but a female lead who didn't just appear to be a "token female lead", she was a bit nifty in a scrap. I hope Rey's character goes from strength to strength. Now I just need to wait for Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman...sigh ;-)

2016-01-23 23:29:14 +0000 UTCAs much as I'm really not a Star Wars fan, when I saw the movie I fell in love with Rey. I don't watch a lot of movies, but when I do the character I can relate to is normally a side character. Being able to relate so strongly to the lead was fantastic.
