It has been a while sooo update on the ants!
Added 2025-02-17 18:31:03 +0000 UTCAs you can see the colony is still growing fast. In a few months will probably have to add an extra nest or arena/terrarium to this ant farm.

Yes it is, from around oktober to march 2 of my colonies hibernate. I have to put them in lower temperatures for them to go in hibernation. The black garden ants are at around 5°C and the messor barbarus are at around 10-15°C.
