I feel like the twist could've paid off more if we spent more time with certain characters, and maybe add some scenes hinting at something weird going on in the lab. I think since our protag was so close to the angle maybe he could start to hear his voice and maybe he tries to go look through out the building and finds that hidden elevator just to get quickly shut down by the sergeant. Just something to add more mystery and intrigue. Not a bad story at all can't wait to see the baby slingshot bit animated. Hope they read one piece next.

That’s why the brother is described as a hippy and is extremely pacifist. I also think that the general implied that they drugged and kicked his sister out of the program. I do not think they would just let her out and about after knowing what she did so they probably drugged her before letting her find her own tainted supply of heroine. Finally I think that the infant death project might have been a way to test if he was a dreamer. The thought process being that if he was tryin to do a good for the world and wasn’t just trying to get information the angel would give him the information. Maybe the promotion was also apart of trying to give the main character a vision. Because the promotion let him work with more biblical technology.

Instead of the intelligent protagonist telling the general no, why not have him agree and then secretly undermine the general and try to free Gabriel? You could have Gabriel provide a dream of something to invent that would help, but then you could have the wife/spy reveal trip him up, as opposed to her and the general smoking bad guy cigars at the end (metaphorically). Also the infant mortality thread went absolutely nowhere. You could've had the wife/spy reveal be a harder threat from the general "No more funny business, work on what we want you to do or we can kill you since we have your baby as an option" which then leads into a different plan. Instead of ending infant mortality, cause infant mortality to screw over the general, since our atheist protag could justify killing off the line of Jesus for a world without religion controlling things. If you can't free Gabriel, fuck over the general by removing everyone who can speak to him. A good justfication for ending the story with an hero.

It’s not expensive I know, but so far there have only been 4 Patreon exclusives and 2 of those are “off the record” videos and not story reads which is why we watch and pay for extra content in the first place plus putting out an OTR about why there hasn’t been more exclusive episodes feels kinda disrespectful. Why not put out the OTR on the YouTube channel and leave the story reads to the people paying their hard earned money for actual episodes? Plus the two actual story reads uploaded to Patreon so far are two of the shortest ones yall have made. I’m sticking around because I support yall, but it’s getting ridiculous at this point
