So, I've spent the last two days working out the specifics and minutiae of this. This graph went through a lot of iterations to make sure everyone got the best and fairest value for money without deviating too much for the tiers as they are now.
Let me explain some of the rationale behind what you're seeing.
First off, things are mostly the same in the monthly tiers. Only the $2 tier is exiting due to lack of interest. No harm done putting everything in the $1 tier instead.
Secondly, polls are going to be generally available to the entire Patreon, but specifically polls on what the next comic will be, or what I will do with fetish releases, are going to be limited to the Lust tier. So the added value of the Lust tier, beyond simply more raw content, is also going to be the ability to have a say in content direction.
Thirdly, the Indulgence tier pricing is really specific. What it means is that it takes a Lust supporter 6 months to meet that threshold, and a Craving supporter 9 months. Then they will get access to download links for all the archived content they want.
This means that when when the one year moratorium on Patreon Exclusives expires, and I can start selling individual sets on Affect3D, most Patreon supporters are still 6 or 3 months ahead of the release curve, and probably more since I'll only sell the KMM comic as a whole, for example.
Lastly, I've integrated fetish sets as part of the Desire tier. The reason for this is that I'm going to be doing more of them, I do think they are a interesting to potential patrons, and they're turning out to be big enough in render count that they can't reasonably be considered freebies anymore.
Overall I think this is a structure that's fair, makes sense, and doesn't deviate too much from how things already work. The most major change is the addition of the Indulgence tier, but I think that if you look at how other 3DX artists are managing Patreon it's hardly unusual to be implementing it.
This change will go into effect on March 1st, but I'm still open to feedback and changes. So if you let me know before friday if you think something is unjust or unfair, I'll take it into consideration! Do keep in mind that after this goes live, there will be no further changes to tiers for a considerable period of time, since all this tinkering of the last two weeks has gone on long enough and it's time for stability to return :D
