Some cosplay previews and progress ♥

Hello everyone! I got a two new cosplays in the mail and have been slowly working away on some cosplays (despite lacking in materials cause we're stiiiiiill in lockdown). So I thought I'd share a few previews and progress pictures with you guys (:

As you can see in the photos above, the Klara and Dark Magician Girl cosplays have arrived! Unfortunately I have to wait to professionally shoot them, but I managed to take selfie sets of them that I will be posting next month ♥

I also FINALLY sewed together my Kohaku dress, and it actually didn't turn out too bad (I am not that great at sewing)! I also added some interfacing (a stiff material that you can add to the unseen side of fabric to make it more rigid, since the bottom of Kohaku's dress has volume to it).

Okay I took these photos without the interfacing added in yet, but at least you can see a side-by-side photo and how my cosplay dress looks compared to anime Kohaku's dress. Ignore my super sexy Snorlax pajama pants LOL.

I should finally post a Fiora cosplay update since it's been so long, but I don't really need to finish it anytime soon so it's not done yet 😅 However, I did get quite a lot of progress done overall. I couldn't find the choker I made so it's missing from the photo, and the top and skirt are NOT done, as this is just a progress shot of the cosplay pieces laid out on the floor (: It'll look a lot better when I'm actually done with it.

Lastly, a cosplay I've been wanting to make for a while is Mythra from Xenoblade 2. However, the cosplay will be extremely hard for me to make, especially with almost none of the materials I would need. So for now, I'm just going to work on an Easter bunny Mythra, with her swimsuit as inspiration. I ordered a suit that would look like something she would wear:

I also have to make a few of her accessories, like her head piece, cross-shaped Core Crystal, and her thigh piece. So far, I sculpted part of her head piece out of Model Magic. Ignore the bad paint job on the "emerald" piece LOL, I had the wrong shade of green and tried to wipe it off. I just need to do buy the right shade of green paint when I am able to:

Anyways, that's it for now. I'm going to post a fashion selfie set tomorrow for you guys before the month ends so keep an eye out for that ^__^
