Update/Preview 21/03/21

Morning, all! Take a gander at Blazing Trinity. I hope I didn’t share this scene before... I feel like I did... oh well.

Progress has slowed right down, unfortunately. I just had the week from hell at work, so I’ve been pretty much coming home and passing out. I will be pushing to get this chapter done by the end of the month, but I’m not entirely sure I’ll make it. We’ll get there eventually, though. I’m almost done Lyn’s story! I’m in the process of trying to figure out how to work polls into the next Self Insert Dark chapter, which will hopefully go up before the weekend. I’m also really stoked about the two year anniversary of Dark next month, too! Trying to figure out something special to do for it... I’m open to suggestions.

So, because last week kicked my ass so bad all I really did was watch some stuff. I tried to play the MediEvil remake, but I was too tired even for that. Fun game, though. I ended up watching the story for God of War 4 on YouTube, and I gotta say, wow. I was blown away. Kinda wish I had time to sit down and play it, honestly, but that story was damn impressive. I really like the way they characterised Kratos, too; I love the ‘Old Man Logan’ ageing badass trope. I actually really want to work it into my own writing somewhere, but I also want it to feel organic, so I’m not forcing it. I checked out the Heavenly Sword movie, because I loved the game back in the ol’ PS3 days. Solid. Nothing amazing, but even the game was more style than substance. It was still better than the next one... I also watched a fucking terrible Alien/Thing hybrid clone called Breach, because it had Tom Jane and Bruce Willis in it. Bruce Willis was a side character, and Tom Jane got literally five minutes of screen time. And they’re the only two on the fucking cover. Bad movie.

I haven’t really got much else to talk about. Aside from my brother deciding he didn’t want a $100 Warhammer tank because he’s an idiot. So I scored a free tank. Winning!
