Manufacturer updates - Plush + Kigu

Since I have a few projects all out at once we are talking to quite a few manufacturers. Currently getting all the wolves done this month to have at least a batch in time for the con. We also got word the coyote plush sample will be shipped out next month which means we will have it at Megaplex. I wish I had a bit more time before the con to do more orders for the new projects but looks like those will have to wait. So the coyote plush will be the next large plush we will have available later this year, want to make sure I love everything about the sample before we fully commit to the next big batch.

We are also waiting on the smaller 20cm posable soft plush like husky dolls. The manu sent me some updated designs and much much happier with it all together. We have agreed to have 3 huskies to show as samples at Megaplex. A black and white one, a grey and white one and a rust and white. We have some outfits in the works for them as well and should have some to show at the event. These are really exciting as they are small enough to take everywhere and we will also have transparent bags for them at the con to show how they can be carried around but still be protected but show them off to others.

We are still waiting to see how the fox re make of the body is looking. Company had sent us a revision but it will still not there, so at this point not sure what to do as they want to continue doing revisions. Unsure where we are with this since the current sample is really not good enough to show. I will more than likely be going with another company for the plush, one of the 2 we are very happy with to make the fox come to life as we are really wanting that one to work out. Aim for that is to have it available to order end of the year.

The larger doll like plush which is the size of a build a bear is still in revision stages as they really missed the mark on the body and a lot of the head. So that one is going to take a little bit until we get exactly what we want or scrap the project and go with a new company. That one has potential to be really cool but the company we are working with started strong but is really dragging their feet with communication, so that has been a bit of a pain.

Kugurumi's. Been wanting to create kigus that match our plush we plan to release so every plush we make if the kigu manu works out will have matching kigu Pj's. I love cute matching stuff so thought why not make soft pjs to match the toys too. This one is our newest project but we shall see about having a sample to show later in the month. The first kigu will match our wolf plush then working on the coyote one.
