2 looks in one (prototype)
Added 2021-03-23 16:09:45 +0000 UTCThe 3D eyed head I have been working on works well for both types of eyes, be it 3D following eyes like it was originally designed and plastic flat eyes. I wanted to be able to do both looks to give customers more options. I am also making a slightly slim lined version of this head base so it can be specifically worn as a partial.
Testing the looks with quick prints, paper mock ups and more. Will be doing a version of ears and a few nose types for this head base as well. Ears I need to design and create a 3D print to cast in foam.
The 3D eyes will be a separate cast along with the "eyeliner" which I will flock separately. Trying to do the heads in parts to be able to an overall cleaner look. Eye mesh will be dye sub mesh to get a really crisp look and bright colors. Nose is currently being printed, so for now it is just a place holder hole.
Testing both eyes on the same head just for testing purposes. I will have different jaw sets that will fit the head as well. Overall I am going for a lego like approach where a few things can be plug and play in a way.
Will continue to post progress on this project. Will be making a foam version of this head as well.
