Kitsune Gas Mask Progress
Added 2020-07-12 19:36:56 +0000 UTCThe idea started from a sketch and now I have a model. I had an itch to model it last night and here is the model almost done. I did slap some quick color in Zbrush to see how it would look and pretty happy with the results. So what happens next? I need to finish sculpting the detail into the mask, do final clean up, sizing and do a print on the FDM printer. Once that print is done, we are happy with the size I will see where the strap attachments will make the most sense and add those to the model. From there I will slice the model so I can print a clean high quality version on my resin printer, put together and create a silicone mold to create casts. It is a to do but happy with how this is taking a life of its own. I want to model the fittings inside the mask holes as well and get some gas mask tubes. The completed/painted masks will be available on patreon first. I will offer a few DIY ones as well on Patreon only.
