Mask tests 👍 (test #1)
Added 2020-04-28 03:49:21 +0000 UTCTrying to find the best fit so we can come up with at least 2 main sizes. One being a s/m and and L/XL. Current size was a bit too short from the nose bridge to the chin so want to print another size giving it more space in those areas. We want the masks to be comfy so finding sizes that work best will take a few test prints. Printing halves to avoid wasting materials before printing a full test print.
The quality of the print is rough as we are mostly testing size. Saw that the breathing holes in the front by the teeth will be too small so plan to cut it completely out making it easier to draw air in. Will more than likely create a grid under the chin to allow more air as well.
Once the fit has been sorted I will move onto the way the mask attaches and how the mask fits on your face and if a seal is possible.
Will continue to post my findings as I continue printing tests.
