Unlike the cloth masks which all I need to do is create a piece of artwork I have been dabbling with the idea of a 3D printed face mask in the shape of an animal muzzle. Wanted to create a prototype with a feline muzzle simply because cat muzzles are shorter so my idea might be easier to replicate this way. Using the nostrils, partially opened mouth and whisker spots as areas to breathe and attach the inner filter. The inner filter attachment point might involve either simply attaching Velcro spots to attach filters or print a smaller inner structure of the muzzle with holes that will hold the filter based on pressure and Velcro points top, bottom and sides. Would do the typical over the ears elastics with the ear savers to avoid ear strain. Want to do either headliner or something similar so it fits snug against the face but still be comfy and easy enough to clean. Since our world is changing and as mentioned in the previous post masks are becoming part of our everyday why not have some fun with design. If everything works I’ll definitely offer these on patreon. Time to design and test ⭐️
