New type of fursuit head design in the works ✂️

Been tinkering with an idea for a small suit head, good for partials and printable. Ideally when I get the large resin 3D printer I’ll be able to print as either one piece or 2. I want to tackle making the eyes in a very different manner being able to give them shine. Want to go with more of a Pixar like eye and paint the iris with a metallic paint so it shines from different angles. Do plan to print prototypes with my current printers to change anything I need before I go full resin.

Quick draw over to get the idea across. Want to create a slim fitting neck and zipper entry through the back. Still debating on creating a transparent lens that goes over the eyes to add extra gloss. Need to be careful with fogging issues so might need to seal the eye in a way it won’t fog inside the dome itself and look like it has glaucoma. Huge issue I see with Kemono type eyes that heavily rely on fans but so t have the space in this one for one based on how small I’m trying to keep it.

The back of the head will have adjustable straps so it fits a variety of head types. Plan to make a few species in this style, will make a feline next and probably a rabbit right after. Want to create sets of these with a few color variations for the fur. Want to also create a version that can be paintable and offer as a DIY project to everyone on patreon.

First set will be a few foxes in different colors. Red fox, silver, artic , gray etc.
