When I listened to is…at first the song is just great & I think it has a sensual fell
When I watch the videos I imagine he is the train and his life is on the railway…he does what he needs to even when he’s not supposed to; he has a dark and light ride but the dark side gets subdued by the light side in a cycle (he’s a workaholic that doesn’t get much rest)
Sn: I would’ve loved to have been in the video as an extra

…..this MV really makes me think Chan really has seen some stuff online. The MV is straight out of a fanfiction 😅

Someone also interpreted that "Although Railway is full of innuendo, there's a deeper meaning. The Bangchan in white (at the end) is the more rational, logical part of him.
He has to keep the Bangchan in black under lock and key. That side of him is the more primal, savage part of him, and if he (the one in black) were completely let loose, he'd leave a RAILWAY of absolute carnage behind. Makes sense knowing how protective he is of those that he loves he keeps his darker side of him locked up as much as he can, but he's not completely successful. At the end, he wears the black jacket which implies that although he has a good grip on his emotions, he has no problem being tough and showing no signs of backing down when those important to him (or what's important to him) are threatened.

We jokingly call BangChan Christopher when he gets a bit salty and l think lets that side of his personality out so l think this is maybe in reference to his struggles in being the responsible one the leader of Straykids always having to project a certain persona and sometimes Christopher who would have had to adapt his personality which would be quite different coming from Australia at a young age who let’s fly occasionally and then having to reign it in again

Idk …. But towards the end, we see that it was a reverse , the Bang Chan in black reverse to beginning and facing the white Bang Chan and got killed … then we see the eyes of the Bang Chan in white changed to the same as the Chan at the beginning and he was dragging the chair with the black coat …it seems to me that it was actually the Chan in white whom we saw at the beginning. Like a loop… the “good” Chan in white trying to suppress himself or the devil in himself over & over again in a loop (?)

buring his darkside, dark thoughts, just keeping his head clean and clear…. No time for temptation and “evil” desires that can de”rail” him on his journey to success…
Well written, amazingly put together MV… Bang Chan the man that you are.

so visuals wise, chan is a vampire that lives in some sort of prison/asylum, everyone in the place is chans food, however, the food supply isn't satisfying his hunger, hence the attempt of the vampire trying to escape, however light chan came and stopped him as he was suddenly uncontrollable.
now theory wise, the vampire chan is temptations (of some description, think 7 sins, greed, lust, etc) he indulged those temptations but in the end Chan knows there is a line to be drawn and that the temptations are still sins, whether the light chan kills temptations or just regains control is vague, and exactly what part of his life it translates to is also vague, idol life would be him chasing "greed" the want to be the best, beat all others, make a lot of money. Trainee life how he saw so many fall before he debuted and how he had to change mindset from being the best to debut to harbouring the members love and treating others as colleagues not "competition". Then the temptations of the man just being in his 20's wanting to indulge in drinking, dating, maybe smoking etc but remembering that these things need to be hidden to portray the idol image. There are so many more but i'll stop here because I could be here forever.

Looking at everyone’s comments, I think this is a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde scenario as well. What I thought was interesting was that Bang Chan in white also had a white eye but it was the opposite of black Wolf/ Vampire Chan. Amazing video and insightful comments

Bang Chan did this on purpose! He included the song in their "ATE" tour and had us all thinking it was sexy because of the lyrics and his part in the performance! This is a joke on us! Who would've thought the song was about zombies and possibly a mental health breakdown! Bang Chan has such a great sense of humor! The man is goddamn sexy but he doesn't want to take that sexiness to the next level! I guess we could dig a lot deeper, but I don't think he wants us to! I for one don't want to… I'll just take his visuals and hold onto them!

Yes - and the Renfields are willing, and how easy it is to use people around him because they’re willing, and you just feed them now and then but they don’t care how you treat them.

I think it is referencing the road to becoming an idol and the seeking fame. How when he just focuses on fame, he they can ignore what is happening around him for a moment but there are always the casualties (the idols that don't make it to fame or those that commit suicide or just break under the pressures). It is a one way ride and you have to keep riding it if you want to get to your goals...and there are always more goals ahead of you when reach one. He once talked about how his dad kept telling him remember to enjoy himself (mentioned in the lyrics). And this "ride to fame" has things that make him stronger and things that tear at his soul. It isn't different than Social Path in some ways.

I loved this video so much. The fact that it CAN be sexy but also has us all thinking and theorizing and analyzing…love that! I think if you tie it to his life, there are all these temptations, he’s feeding off these people and feeding them and they are all experiencing this love and obsession with each other. Then white Chan comes in, trying to contain this insatiable side. Or something…lol…so good! (Your C necklace is so cute!)

I thought maybe the vampire was him working so hard all the time and feeling the need to keep going. He has said that now he can relax because all the members are confident in their solo performances.
I think him killing the vamp is him letting go of some of the stress. That was for the MV.
We all know what the lyrics of the song are talking about

A theory I've seen that seems to make sense is that the first Chan is the vampire, and the one in white is the vampire slayer. The vampire is thirsty for blood and is going crazy over it. But the vampire slayer shows up at the end. There was a lot more to the theory, but that explains why there are two Bang Chans.

just a little thing. there was a sentence on the wall at around 0:56 in the music video. it reads "the evil deed committed always returns to the person who committed it." don't know if that's from something, but it definitely fits the vibes

First of all, this MV is a work of art! The horror concept suits him so well!
It kinda sounds and looks like a trainwreck relationship with himself. You know desires, temptation unhealthy habits, obsessive behavior etc. and his light side trying to keep all of that at bay. That’s why he fights, stakes (like how you can kill vampires with a wooden stake in most vampire fiction) and buries his dark side at the end and turns his back on that part because he wants to leave it behind.
All in all a very very well executed concept and as a horror/vampire/scary movie lover this was absolute cinema!
