Canadien from Montréal, I also think lightupk is a great option! My first ever album order (5star) had to come in from the states and was really confusing and more expensive. ATE is my 3rd order from Lightupk and I've been in person in MTL (they have a irl store in Toronto too). Really simple, clear and free shipping. Not to mention not having to deal with exchange rates for USD$ to CAD$.

It says 'Mini' because its a mini album. That just means it doesn't have as many songs on it like a full album would have. For example, this is Stray Kids' 9th mini album but they have also released 3 full albums already (5-star, noeasy and go live)

Ben, (in the future) stores like Walmart, Target, Barnes & Noble are reliable places to get your albums from. You might not even have to pay shipping if you meet the minimum purchase and so on. btw, I'm from some island in Spain (which makes it even more difficult to pre-order the albums) so I buy the through a german website, and I have to wait almost a month after is released to have it. I don't order from JYP because the shipping is CRAZY. Just no. I did my first comeback and it just wasn't worth it considering I can get almost all the versions from other stores locally. I ordered the signed from SKZ Shop and preordered from the US stores for the various other versions since I do collect. Plus for anyone who ordered from JYP directly because they wanted a JYP POB, many other stores online with better shipping prices offer POBs. You can just find 1 with the JYP version if you want it that way (and they might even have multiple stores POBs available). I get a few versions from stores like that to get some Korean POBs not available here without buying from the individual stores directly and paying a bunch of different shippings.

I ended up buying three different versions of that first album. K-pop REALLY has their marketing down. They make it ridiculously complex.

Yes...older Stay here and at times all 6 tracks of my CD player in my car are SKZ. I currently have one ATEEZ CD in since I am going to a concert in a few weeks and I have a BTOB to lower my blood pressure and anxiety on my way to work and Enhypen's Memorbilia (which will be replaced with their comeback on Friday). Hi Ben as a fellow newcomer to buying Kpop albums I hope my paboracha explaination make sense. All Cds in the album have the same contents. The album is a SET that includes the CD and different freebies based on which version you buy (photocards, etc). Each album's designs are different to differentiate them. It's made like that to entice collectors to buy different versions. You just have to buy the one with the designs and freebies you like.

You did good. haha :) The different versions are the same album (all the songs), but the inclusions are different. So, posters, photocards, etc. And the covers of the albums are different. I always buy all the versions, because it's what I choose to collect. But, some people only buy one version and are happy with that. :) You're getting two versions in that order, so you'll get two different covers and slightly different inclusions inside. The CDs will be the same in both of them though. Hope you pull Seungmin! :)

It’s just a way to get fans to order more albums which is smart like I collect so I buy every version of every album they put out some are harder to get especially like limited albums. The difference is the way the outside looks and they can have different photo cards so for someone who doesn’t collect or care about having all versions I suggest just going with whichever looks better to you.

Detailed version for those who want to read (based on my experience): Simply put, names like Boom are simply names to differentiate different versions of albums. With each new music promotion, there will be a different name. But usually, there will be 3 main versions: Standard, Limit, and Nemo. There will be additional versions with different names. Standard is the version you buy. This is the main version that usually comes with 2 photo cards, postcards, a CD containing all the songs, a photo book, etc. The ATE version you see sold out is a limited edition, many versions are similar but may differ due to the images and concepts used. As for the Nemo version, it will be a mini version with a cheaper price. They do not include a photobook but usually include a full set of photocards for all 8 people and this time you can receive a random photocard of 1 in 8. The demo does not have a CD but there will be a QR Card to listen to music on the phone. Other versions are also small versions, the included items will be less than the standard version and limited edition. But you will have a photo card in all versions. Pre-orders are usually released very early, they are usually released on the first day when the teaser is released. If possible, I hope you can follow Stray Kids' X. You will receive full information as well as the date and time. You can buy three You can also get the link to buy the genuine album without going to JyShop. If you buy now, you will receive POB, which is a Pre-Order Benefit. If you scroll down you will see a preview image of the album. If you read carefully, your version will come with a free poster and sticker if you pre-order. Those free items are usually only given away if you buy them in advance. But you can also buy them from small retail stores which they still have, or Target when I bought their albums they always came with a pre-order benefit even though it's been a while. Prices will vary from place to place, not because the selling price is more expensive but usually includes shipping costs. If you buy in the US or Canada the price will be more expensive but in return, the shipping fee will be much cheaper. Whether this is necessary or not is an option for you to consider. Fans who stay regularly will buy a book that resembles a photo album but instead, the pages in that album will be pages for photo cards. You also need at least one layer of photocards to protect them from scratches. If you want to collect them and preserve them properly then this is what you can do. If you choose a member that is not your bias, you can exchange, to collect a single member with many different versions. You can buy on Amazon and search with keywords like photocard album, also look at the size of the album and buy photocard book covers if you can't find the version that comes with them. You'll also need to buy photocard copies, but be careful buying the non-PVC version, as PVC can damage your photocard. If you can pay more but are assured of quality, the place you can buy is MeowCafeShop. Hope this detailed explanation can help you.

Some people just like to collect them all. Usually with the limited version (sold out ATE version) you get most in pre order. I myself bought the ATE version, the ChkChk version and the Boom version because I do collect.

Accordion/ digipack ver. there are 8 versions of this type that are member specific covers ( ie seungmins ver will have only seungmin on the cover) this ver is accordion style and will have a few pictures of the specific cover member (and maybe 1 group shot but not guaranteed) also includes a random photocard (1 out of 8 and you are NOT guaranteed a photocard of the member you bought), and a mini lip card?( random 1 out of 8) This list doesn't include standard Pre-order benefits( extra gifts for pre-ordering the album) which are different for each version, or store specific pre-order benefits again hope this was a little helpful

im going to try my best to explain this in the easiest way possible. when a artist/group releases an album, there is typically 4 different versions of said album. the album itself (the songs) are all the same. there is no difference with the music aspect. HOWEVER, the main difference is the concept of each PHYSICAL album. a physical album typically comes with a photobook, photocard, stickers, etc. when there are 4 versions of an album, (or in this case 2) it means that there are 2 different versions of the album physically to collect. the concepts art can be a variety of things, it varies on group. hopefully this helps!!

So basically each version comes with different pictures with different concepts of each of the members but each version has a cd with the same songs. people usually buy multiple because we want all the members photocards with all the concepts. You should have also gotten seungmins accordion version because he’s your bias and you could have gotten Seungmin specific photos lol

It says 'Mini' because its a mini album. That just means it doesn't have as many songs on it like a full album would have. For example, this is Stray Kids' 9th mini album but they have also released 3 full albums already (5-star, noeasy and go live)

I bought the Limited Edition and Nemo version (my 12yo daughter prefers that way) from JYP. I also bought a standard CHK CHK/BOOM version from Target. I didn't get to choose which one, so I'll pick the other version from another store in town that day.

You're not stupid, but plenty of people still use CDs. I have a 25yo car, it plays CDs. Also, don't always have internet. So yeah, still using the CDs.

What helped me was watching the boys unbox different versions of Rock Star, I think it was. That one had 3 versions. SO glad I peeped that b4 this comeback.

That was me when I had my 1st comeback. All the cds have the same 8 songs what makes them different is the concept of the photobook, the photocards and the inclusions. Since I cannot control myself I ordered 1 of each and 2 accordions: 1 from Binnie and the other from Seungmin
